Dog Walking
What we are looking for in a Dog Walker:

They must be reliable - (All our customers dogs are left alone during the day and it is our responsibility not to let them down)

They must be punctual - (Days are structured to make sure all dogs get the best out of the walks and the customers get what they are paying for)

They need to be confident - (We will be walking up to 4 dogs per handler so our dogs get the enrichment they deserve)

A walker needs to be willing to walk dogs in any weather (unless dangerous to do so)

They would need to pick up every dog poop (It is against the law to leave it)

They must have the ability to bond with clients dogs and treat them like they were their own.

Be able to work in a team and be able to thrive working alone with only friendly dogs to talk to.

Having their own transport is a massive bonus as more responsibility can be given straight away.

Above all they must have the passion and integrity to provide a reliable, quality service to all of our customers.
​Starting hourly wage from £11.50 per hour.
Statutory holiday entitlement
Position only available for applicants aged 25 or over with at least 5 years clean driving licence, due to insurance restrictions.
Usual working hours between 10am and 2.30pm to meet demand.
Week Days Only
Must be available to cover some staff holidays
Home Boarding Host
If you have a home with an enclosed garden and have the time to care for someone's pet while they are on their holiday, you may be eligible to become a host and earn some extra holiday money for yourself.
We provide a home from home alternative to kennels and treat our guest dogs like they are our own. Our hosts will be matched with suitable dogs to ensure a loving bond with each guest that is invited into their home.

As a home boarding host you must:

Have a love for dogs and experience caring for them.

Like walking in the great outdoors.

Not work full time as dogs should not be left unattended to prolonged periods of time.

Have a secure outside area for enrichment and exercise.

Provide a caring home for your guests.

be willing to meet clients and their dogs at your home before the arranged booking.

Jake's Adventures will take care of the licence fees and insurances and all bookings will go through our website, so all you need to do is sit back and relax.
All the hard work is taken care of and we provide excellent competitive rates of pay, up to 90% Commission on all assignments for boarding and day-care. Depending on experience and how licence fees are paid.
